Devendorf To Re-Open His Recruitment

After giving a commitment to Michigan State early on in the recruiting process, Eric Devendorf has decided to re-open his recruitment. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard from Central High School in Bay City, MI., has a number of high major programs interested in his services, so he hopes to take some visits before deciding on his future.
“Yes, Eric has decided to re-open his recruitment. He really wants to take some visits and see what’s out there,” Will Smith said. “Eric feels that he made too quick of a decisions, so he wants to open things back up and see what happens.”

Coach Smith feels that Devendorf could likely end up attending Michigan State, but he also knows that the 6-foot-3 shooting guard wants to take some visits before making a decisions.
“I know that Wake Forest, North Carolina, Florida, Syracuse, Louisville and Michigan State are the schools Eric is most interested in,” Coach Smith said. “He wants to play through the summer and then start taking some visits after that. I know that Eric is going to take his time with this decision.”
