Devendorf Comments on Visit

Eric Devendorf of Central High School in Bay City, Mich., is presently listing six schools including Michigan State. Five of the six have offered the 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard. The No. 17 ranked player in the class of 2005 also spoke to RivalsHoops.com about his recent visit to Florida.
“The visit was good,” said Devendorf. “Coach Donovan and the staff treated me really well. And you cannot beat the weather down there. Most of the players had already gone home, but David Lee was there, and I had a good time with him.”

Devendorf, who averaged 19.5 points per game for the Michigan Hurricanes during the TOC, then listed his schools.
“My list is Michigan State, Louisville, Syracuse, Florida, North Carolina, and North Carolina State,” he said. “All of them have offered except for North Carolina.”
A visit to Syracuse on June 11th is Devendorf’s next stop, and he plans to make a decision before the early signing period.
Devendorf, who is a big time scorer, is presently focused on improving his defense.
“I want to get stronger on defense and improve my quickness,” he said. “I know the offense will come. It is the defense that is important right now.”
