Following are news and notes from Day One of the USA Developmental Festival which is being held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Check the Ultimate Ticket for all the details including the day's top scorers, rebounds and which players are seeing their stock rise.
Top Individual Performances From The Day:

#1. Darius Washington: 32 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
#2. DeMarcus Nelson: 29 points, four rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals.
#3. Mike Williams: 28 points, 13 rebounds (eight offensive) one assist and one steal.
#4. Sebastian Telfair: 27 points, four assists, one block and three steals.
#5. D. J. White: 25 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks.
Standings After Day One:
East Squad=2-0
West Squad=1-1
South Squad=1-1
North Squad=0-2
The RivalsHoops150 was recently released and quite a few players from that list are in Colorado Springs, Colorado:
Shaun Livingston (#2), Sebastian Telfair (#6), Darius Washington (#7), D.J. White (#8), Marvin Williams, Jr. (#10), Mailk Hairston (#12), Mike Williams (#13), DeMarcus Nelson (#15), Jason Rich (#19) and Jawann McClellan are just a handful of players that currently occupy the RivalsHoops150 list.
Shaun Livingston Making A Push For The #1 Spot:
*** While Livingston is currently ranked as the second best player in the class of 2004, he is making a real to take the top spot. Through two games he has scored a total of 36 points, dished out 12 assists grabbed 12 rebounds and played 63 minutes.
The 6-foot-7 point guard is athletically gifted and, because of that, has the ability to hurt a team in a variety of ways. Livingston has a smooth stroke from the outside, but can also put the ball on the floor and attack the basket.
Top Individual Performer Of The Day:
*** Darius Washington is going to make a lot of people in Memphis extremely happy. The 6-foot-0, 165-pound combo guard from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Florida, put on quite a show during the evening session.
When all was said and done, Washington scored 32 points on 11 of 23 shooting, hit four of 12 three pointers, made all six of his free throw attempts, dished out four assists and had three steals.
The USA West squad had no answer for Washington, as the athletic floor general was scoring for everywhere on the court.
Sebastian Telfair Shines In Evening Session:
*** Telfair, the second best point guard in the class of 2004 played a complete game in the evening session after struggling somewhat earlier in the day. The Lincoln High School product scored 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting, hit all four of his free throws, connected on three out of five three pointers and dished out four assists.
