Derek Ahern Picks A School
Derek Ahern, a 6-10, 250 from Palm Beach C.C. in Palm Beach, Fla., committed to Duquesne. He had just wrapped up an official visit to Duquesne this past weekend.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com previously caught up with Palm Beach C.C. Steve Bernath, and he said that Duquesne and Hartford are most heavily involved with Ahern this fall.

Ahern's visit to Duquesne lasted from Oct. 13-15. It's obvious he had a great trip to Duquesne, according to sources close to Ahern.
Ahern has cancelled his official visit to Hartford, which was planned for this weekend.
A DeMatha Catholic H.S. product, Ahern attended American University in 1999-2000 as a freshman, but he blew his knee out and left the school after a coaching change.
He enrolled at Palm Beach last fall.
