Derek Ahern Has Short List
Derek Ahern, a 6-10, 250 from Palm Beach C.C. in Palm Beach, Fla., just wrapped up an official visit to Duquesne this past week.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Palm Beach C.C. Steve Bernath, and he said that Duquesne and Hartford are most heavily involved with Ahern this fall.

Ahern's visit to Duquesne lasted from Oct. 16-17, and he might also take a trip to Hartford in the near future.
A DeMatha Catholic H.S. product, Ahern attended American University in 1999-2000 as a freshman, but he blew his knee out and left the school after a coaching change.
He enrolled at Palm Beach last fall, and will have two years to play on the Division I level.
