Dennis drawing a crowd

Five-star prospect Nolan Dennis is making progress in the weight room. The shooting guard from North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland High School has also had some heavy hitters watch him workout this week.
Indiana, Texas and Kansas (Bill Self and two assistants) were at Richland High School on Monday. Kentucky and Texas A&M were in the gym on Tuesday.

An extremely versatile perimeter player at 6-foot-5, Dennis is starting to add some weight to his thin frame according to his travel team coach Ray Jackson of the Dallas Mustangs.
"Nolan is working hard in the weight room," said Jackson. "He's put on some weight and is up to around 180-pounds. It's beginning to show on his arms."
Dennis is the No. 21 ranked prospect in the class of 2009.
Nolan Dennis scouting report:
A sleek all purpose guard, Dennis has a feel for the game and the athletic explosiveness that makes him one of the more intriguing guard prospects in the class. Capable of playing all three perimeter positions, Dennis is at his best making plays off the dribble. He has room to improve the consistency of his outside shot and he does need to gain weight. The potential is there, however, for Dennis to develop into a Devin Harris type point guard.
