Luol Deng, a 6-8 multi-purpose player from Blair Academy in New Jersey, told us that he had a very good visit to Virginia. "I liked it alot," Deng said today after his workout. "I had a good time. I stayed with the guys. I hung out with them a lot.
"Team was just together. I guess they don't have the word "family" on their shorts for nothing. They are really close. I liked that a lot. I did enjoy my time there."

Deng told us he will take his time in making a decision. "I wanted to take my visits before deciding," Deng said. "I haven't committed to anybody. I just want to take the rest of my visits and compare. Then about a week or two after my last visit I will decide."
George Washington and Texas appear to be out.
Deng, who may play the point this year at Blair Academy, is ranked as the second best player in the 2003 class by RivalsHoops.com. He is a terrific player who has a big heart and tremendous courage.
