Deng Cuts List

Luol Deng, a 6-8 multi-purpose player from Blair Academy in New Jersey, cut his list down. Deng told us today he does plan on visiting four schools -- Duke, Virginia, Missouri, and Indiana. Three have been set up. "I will only visit four schools for now," Deng told us today.
So George Washington and Texas appear to be out. Deng continued to state he doesn't have a leader. But a source tells us that Deng spoke with Ndudi Ebi over the past week to get a feel what each other are doing.

Deng said on his in homes: "They were all very good. I enjoyed them. One did not stand out. But I learned a lot from each on their programs."
Indiana and Virginia were the two most recent schools to take in homes while Duke and Missouri have already been in as well. A source close to Deng tells us that Missouri has really made some strides in this recruiting battle.
Deng will visit Virginia on September 20th, Missouri on September 27th and in late October he will visit Duke. Indiana is trying to schedule a visit as we reported above, Deng indicated he was going to take a trip there.
Deng, who may play the point this year at Blair Academy, is ranked as the second best player in the 2003 class by RivalsHoops.com. He is a terrific player who has a big heart and tremendous courage. Deng is already qualified academically and will be a major impact player on the college level due to his versatility.
