Demond Perris Has Some D-1 Interest
Demond Perris, a 6-6, 210 pound power forward from Northeastern J.C. in Sterling, Colo., has attracted some Division I interest this fall.
According to NJC Asst. Coach Brian Joyce, SW Texas State and Wichita State are highly interesting in Paris, who is expected to sign in the spring.

Joyce said that a major factor in Paris signing late is related to his academic standing. He will need to improve his grades in order to qualify under NCAA Division I junior college transfer requirements.
Perris averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game last season as a freshman at NJC. He is a native of Denver, Colo.
