Dedrick Spooner, a promising 6-8 junior forward from Milford Academy in Milford, Connecticut, is a player to keep a close look on this spring and summer.
Spooner has some nice upside to his game and looks like he can fill it up a little on the offensive end.

Spooner is athletic. He has a nice touch on his jumper too. When we watched him this this past season, he scored on some very talented players.
In fact, the last night we saw him this past season, he dropped in 18 points on a very talented Bridgton Academy team.
Spooner seemed very comfortable inside, mixing it up with the Bridgton big men such as Glenn Batemon, who is about 6-10 and 340 pounds. He also seemed comfortable in going to the basket in transition.
We will keep an eye on his progress over the next several months. We plan to watch him a couple more times.
