Dedrick Finn Down To Four Schools

Dedrick Finn, a rock solid 6-1, 170 pound point guard from Castle H.S. in Newberg, Ind., enjoyed another fine week of play at both the Great American Shootout in Denton and the BCI Nationals in Dallas.
Finn led the Warrick County Warriors to the title at the BCIs, and a final eight finish at the Shootout.

Finn told the Insiders Report that he is down to four schools this summer -- Xavier, Michigan State, Boston College and Mississippi State. Of the four schools, he has an offer from Xavier, and counts the Musketeer program and Michigan State as his top two schools.
Finn has already unofficially visited Xavier, and said he hopes to visit Michigan State as well in the not too distant future.
A very deliberate floor general, Finn plays a controlled game for the Wildcats' half court style, though his size and speed suggest he could play at a faster pace. Finn is very good at sizing up defenses and making quick decisions with the ball, whether to penetrate, dish or shoot.
He averaged 20.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, six assists and four steals per game as a junior at Castle High. Finn said he has a 2.9 GPA and is awaiting a June 2 SAT result.
Finn and Warrick County have one last event to attend this summer, the AAU Nationals down in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., at the end of the month. IR will be in attendance and keep you posted.
