Decision Soon For White
Marcus White, a 6-8, 210 pound power forward from Whitney Young H.S. in Chicago, Illinois, told us he is expected to make a decision within the next 48 hours. "I am almost there on a decision," White told tonight. "One hour I have one school I like and another hour it's another school."
White said he will decide between Texas A&M, Connecticut, and Seton Hall. "I want to go to a place where I will have a chance to play right away," White said. "But I also want to go to a place where we can win."

White's visit to Oklahoma was cancelled. The Sooners received a commitment from forward Larry Turner.
Miami, a school White visited, is also out, according to White. White had already taken visits officially to Connecticut, Miami, Texas A&M and Seton Hall.
Earlier in his recruiting process, Virginia, Florida State, Indiana, and Wisconsin had inquired about White's availability. "There have been other schools that have called," White said. "But I am at the point where I want to make a decision. I don't want to go through this any longer."
