Decision Soon For Ricardo Billings

Ricardo Billings, a 6-3, 190 pound slasher from Rogers Academy in Detroit, Mich., has been telling reporters he will be making a decision by Monday. However, we hear he might even do so early this weekend.
Billings, who was a major cog in The Family's Elite Eight run at the 17 and under Memorial Day Classic in Bloomington, Indiana, averaged 17.6 points per game in five contests, including a 14 point effort in the Family's 66-56 overtime loss to Riverside Church.

Simply put, Billings knows how to get to the tin and draw contact. He is a master of the acrobatic circus finish, and is extremely difficult to guard off the dribble.
As a result, a number of high major programs are eyeballing Billings entering the summer. He told the Insiders Report that Xavier, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Wake Forest, Boston College and Marquette are among the programs courting him this spring and summer. Ohio State and Michigan State are very strong in this recruiting process and a decision could come between these two Big Ten schools.
Billings averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals per game as a junior at Rogers Academy.
Billings has a busy summer on tap. He will be at the the Nike Peach Jam in Augusta, Ga. He will also attend the Ohio State team basketball camp and play in the Southfield Summer League in Michigan.
