Decision is in for Leslie

It looks like things are coming full circle for C.J. Leslie. The five-star forward from Word of God Academy in Raleigh (NC) originally committed to the NC State Wolfpack following his freshman year in high school, and now it looks like the ACC school has scored again.
Leslie made his verbal commitment to NC State Head Coach Sidney Lowe during a meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

"It is a good school and I felt like it was the place to be," said Leslie. "Coach Lowe can get me prepared to the next level."
The 6-foot-8 and 205-pound Leslie was one of two five-star prospects who had yet to reach his decision, but now he is off the board and staying close to home.
Leslie committed to NC State over offers from Kentucky, Connecticut, Florida, and Oregon. Most felt that the decision would come down to Kentucky or NC State, and in the end the Wolfpack won out.
"It was a real hard choice for me," said Leslie. "It just came down to the last minute. It was very difficult."
NC State originally recruited Leslie when he was a freshman Holly Springs High School, but he would later de-commit sighting that he wanted to check out other options and re-open his recruitment.
While some may feel that Leslie knew all along that he was going to NC State even after the de-commitment, he says that wasn't the case.
"No I really didn't know at one point, it was kind of a last minute thing, and I just thought NC State was best," Leslie explained.
With the commitment Leslie becomes the third member of NC State's 2010 class. He joins fellow five-star prospect Ryan Harrow as well as four-star shooting guard Lorenzo Brown to form one of the top classes in the country.
Currently Leslie is ranked as the No. 14 player in the country, and the No. four power forward.
