Decision Coming from Ramon

Combo guard Ronald Ramon of All Hallows Institute in Bronx, New York will make a commitment any day now to either Pittsburgh, Providence, or Rutgers.
“I am real close to making a decision,” said the 6-foot, 185-pound Ramon. “I’ll probably make it this weekend or Monday. It will be early next week at the latest. It is between Pittsburgh, Providence, or Rutgers.”

When asked where he was leaning with his decision so close, Ramon would not tip his hand.
“I just like them equally right now. That’s my feeling,” he said. “I’ve already seen the schools and know what they have to offer. I just need to sit down with my father and look for the best option for me. Look at academics and which place will make me happy besides just in basketball.”
When it comes to basketball, Ramon, originally from the Dominican Republic, is looking to make an impact early.
“I am looking for a chance to compete for playing time early and have a chance to help my team win,” he said.
Ramon also gave RivalsHoops a run down on what he likes about each of his three schools.
“Pittsburgh has great facilities. They have been winning. They have a great program.”
“There is a family atmosphere at Providence. People care for you in that it’s a smaller school.”
“Rutgers is a big school that gives me a chance to be away from home but not too far from home. They have a great campus, great facilities, and good people there.”
