Decision coming for 4-star

Four-star shooting guard Eron Gordon is days away from announcing his college destination.
The 6-foot-2 senior at Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral announced that he will make his college decision this Saturday in a ceremony at a local community center.

The youngest brother of New Orleans Hornet Eric Gordon, it almost seems as if the No. 81 player in 2016 has been in high school for an eternity. However, that's just what happens with siblings of NBA players because people tend to find out about them much earlier.
As Gordon nears his decision, it is important to focus on him and who he is as a player.
Gordon thrives on driving the ball to the hoop where he's able to use his strength to finish at the rim. He's mostly streaky with his jumper and despite being relatively small for a shooting guard he does not project as somebody who will play the point in college. At least not at this time. He's a bucket getter pure and simple and he plays with extreme confidence in his game and doesn't get down on himself if he has a few rough plays.
Gordon has listed finalists of Arizona State, Auburn, Butler, Indiana, LSU, Nebraska, Nevada, Notre Dame, Purdue and Xavier.
Looking ahead to the decision, the Hoosiers and Wolf Pack appear to be leading the way thanks to family ties. Gordon's NBA brother Eric played at Indiana and IU is close to home while Nevada head coach Eric Musselman coached another Gordon brother, Evan, while he was an assistant at Arizona State.
This Saturday I will be announcing my College commitment at The Jewish Community Center at 12 p.m.- Eron Gordon (@EronGordon1) August 18, 2015
