Decision at the end of the month for Clanton

Keith Clanton is going through his own version of jury duty. The 6-foot-7 forward from Orlando (Fla.) Christian power forward has collected the facts and now he has to make a tough decision.
Clanton will decide between South Carolina, Central Florida and South Florida, he said, and hopes to have a decision in the near future.

"I want to get it done pretty soon," Clanton said. "Now I'm just trying to pick out which one I don't like as much. That will make my decision a little easier. But it's still hard."
Each program has positives, Clanton says, and that is why making a decision is proving to be so hard. The three-star prospect broke down each of his finalists.
"I think South Carolina has a good fan base and it's the SEC. It's a good conference. They have a cool coach there that is really energetic," Clanton said.
"South Florida is in the Big East and I think that is the best conference. That's a plus. I like the coaches and the players.
"With UCF, I like their coaches and players but it's in a little lower of a conference. But, it is closer to home and that's a plus. It's real close."
With all of his visits behind him and the information gathered, Clanton is looking closer at the smallest of details. His latest hot button is player development.
"I want to see which coaches get their players better. I remember watching the individual workouts at these places and looked at who gets their players better. That is what I've been doing the last couple of days actually, is looking at that," he said.
"I want to make my decision before the end of the month. Hopefully it will be soon because I want to sign in the early period."
Now he's in deliberation.
