Deane sets fourth official visit

Daniel Deane, the 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Park City, Utah., is nearing the final stages of his recruitment. After conducting in-home visits with Utah and Wake Forest, Dean will likely take one or two more official visits before making a decision about his future.
"Yes, I have already had in-home visits with Wake Forest and Utah," said Deane. "During my in-home visit with both programs, I had a lot more questions for Wake Forest. I just wanted to get a better feel for their program and how they run things. I really had a nice time talking to the coaches from both programs."

Since taking official visits to Stanford, Kansas and Gonzaga back in May, Deane, the three-star prospect, has seen several changes take place in his recruitment. As it stands right now, only four teams remain in the hunt for Deane.
"UCLA, Utah, Wake Forest and Gonzaga are the schools that I am interested in right now," said Deane. "I plan to pick one of the schools that I just mentioned. I am going to take an official visit to Utah this weekend. I would also like to take an official visit to Wake Forest within the next month.
"Things are a lot less hectic around the house now that my list of schools has been cut down," he added. "I didn't mind the attention that I was receiving at the time, but I am kind of a quiet person that does my own thing."
Deane runs the floor, is relentless on the glass, attacks the basket, and throws his body around on defense. Can score with his back to the basket and can step out and hit the jump shot. His ball handling and passing are in need of refinement. -Jerry Meyer of Rivals.com
