DeAaron Williams, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound combo guard from Limestone High School in Bartonville, Ill. is in no rush to make a decision about his future. He’s hearing from a number of high major schools and it looks like several of those schools will receive an official visit from him in the fall. We’re one day away from the July evaluation recruiting period and Williams knows that there is a possibility that other schools might get involved in his recruitment.

“Yea, I’m having a real good time so far here at Nike Camp,” Williams said. “Meeting new people and stuff is the main part. I really like my teammates a lot also. Hopefully we can stay on each others team and not get traded.”
Williams has not put together a definite list of schools he is considering at this time, but one or two schools appear to be making a positive impression on the athletic combo guard.
“I’m just keeping my list wide open, but I’m kind of looking to stay in the Midwest,” he said. “The schools in the Midwest are definitely showing me the most interest right now.
"Illinois is one of that schools that is showing a little interest, but they aren’t showing a lot right now,” he added. “I think they’re still trying to get Shaun Livingston and if they don’t get him, I think they’re looking at Shaun Pruitt. I’m always going to look at Illinois because it’s my home state.”
Williams took an unofficial visit earlier in the summer and, if he has time, looks too take one or two more before the summer ends.
“I took an unofficial visit to DePaul a couple of weeks ago,” he said. “I liked it a lot and it was nice up there. I would like to take a couple more unofficial visits if I have time, but I haven’t decided what schools I would visit yet.
“I also plan on taking all five official visits on the fall,” he added. “DePaul and Wisconsin are schools that I would officially visit, but other than that, I’m wide open. I’d like to have a decision about my future by the end of September. I don’t want anything to affect my senior year of basketball”
