DC area wing is confident in his game

The best players usually have a great feel for their own strengths and weaknesses. Four-star junior Dion Wiley seems to have that honest feel about his own game.
A 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Oxon Hill (Md.) Potomac, Wiley is a high scoring jump shooter who doesn't hide from what his game is all about.

"My role is to score the ball and keep the team composed," Wiley told Rivals.com. "I feel pretty confident doing that.
Currently ranked No. 58 in the 2014 Rivals150, Wiley is an impressive shooting guard prospect. Not only does he shoot with range, he shoots with an incredibly quick trigger and has one of the fastest releases in the country. He can handle the ball a bit, gets to the free throw line and generally gets buckets.
Plenty of programs have jumped in on him early and the efforts of three programs is standing out right now.
"Virginia, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Miami and Maryland have been on me," said Wiley. "UVA, UMD and Georgetown are really on me."
Wiley admits that he doesn't a lot of research into his recruiting just yet but feels good about how he could fit in at any of those three.
"Georgetown, I just feel I can fit in," said Wiley. "Maryland, I know they want me and I can see myself there too. Same with Virginia."
At the moment, Wiley says that he's focusing on his season and personal improvement
"I just want to win," said Wiley. "I can keep working on my handles and my defense."
