Dayton scores with four-star during visit

Archie Miller and his staff at Dayton are on fire when it comes to perimeter recruiting. After scoring a pair of Rivals150 guards in 2013, they landed one for 2014 on Sunday morning.
Four-star combo guard Darrell Davis confirmed to Rivals.com via text that he had committed to start the day.

A 6-foot-3 product of Detroit (Mich.) Douglass, Davis ranks No. 102 in the Rivals150 and is a major score for the Flyers.
One of the most slippery players in the country off the dribble, Davis is a lean driver who has a penchant for getting into the lane and scoring. He is a streak shooter from deep with a short memory, and he's one of those guys who hits the floor looking to get buckets.
With good size and overall ball skills, he can play all over the perimeter. The Flyers are setting themselves up to have a dangerous group of guards.
Davis is the first member of the Flyers' 2014 recruiting class, but the prospects of him playing with 2013 signees Dayshon Smith and Kyle Davis, who ranked No. 106 and No. 114 in their class's Rivals150, should have Miller and Dayton fans excited.
