[rl]The staff at Dayton is putting the A-10 on notice that they are not laying down for anybody. Friday afternoon, the Flyers scored their second Rivals150 point guard.
Already in possession of a commitment from No. 109 Kyle Davis, the Flyers added No. 121 Dayshon Smith.

A native New Yorker who attends Putnam (Conn.) Science, "Scoochie" is an off the dribble creator with quickness and scoring ability. A confident kid who doesn't back down from anybody, Smith plays an attacking style.
Looking ahead, Smith needs to continue to get stronger and he's got to be careful not to force things. But, he has the tools to turn into a pretty dynamic playmaker at Dayton.
It's always good to get as much talent as you can, but it's even better when the talent compliments each other. Smith and Davis definitely compliment each other.
Both would probably be classified more as combos than true points which allows them to play together. Davis is a little smaller but is a big time athlete and mercurial scorer. Smith does a little more off the dribble. The main thing is they both play fast and with a bit of a chip on their shoulder.
So far, Smith and Davis are Dayton's only commitments from 2013 and they are definitely an impressive start.
