Davis Mentions Seven Schools

Darrell Arthur might be the finesse player, but Bryan Davis is the power player for the imposing due of Team Texas. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward from Grand Prairie (Texas) High School is working hard to develop as an offensive player, but the defense is already there. At the 16-under AAU Nationals in Houston, Texas, Davis mentioned seven schools.
“I like Texas, Illinois, Baylor, LSU, Indiana, Kansas, and Arizona,” said Davis. “All of them have offered except for LSU.”

When asked if he had any favorites out of the bunch, Davis named three.
“My favorites would be Texas, LSU, and Indiana,” he said. “I just like those schools.”
A hard working rebounder and ferocious shot blocker, Davis is primarily focused on his footwork.
“I am working hard on my footwork right now, my footwork everywhere, in the post and all around,” he said. “I also need to get stronger.”
In his game Monday, Davis showed signs of progress. On one play, he posted strongly, made a reverse pivot after the catch, went into a strong spin move, used a shot fake, and then stepped through the defense for the foul and the finish.
