Davies winding down his visits

Provo (Utah) High School forward Brandon Davies is one of the top sleepers in the West. However, a handful of schools aren't sleeping on the 6-foot-8 big man. He is busy seeing some of the top hoops programs in the West and a decision is coming soon.
Davies will travel to Gonzaga this weekend for an official visit. The visit marks his third trip of the fall. Davies has been to Utah State and Cal and will see BYU (Oct. 11) before ending his recruitment.

"I'm trying to see what it's like out there and see what the campus is like. I don't really have any expectations or anything," Davies said. "[The Utah State and Cal visits] were both great visits. Both of them really impressed me. They showed me everything that they needed to show me.
"I want to look at everything and then I'll compare everything together after I'm finished visiting. I'm not looking for anything in particular, just kind of as a whole of everything."
Even with successful visits and good relationships with each of the schools looking at him, Davies said he hasn't singled out one specific program just yet.
"I don't have anyone at the top right. All four of those schools are at the top of my list right now. I don't have anyone above anyone at this point," he said.
When he isn't thinking about which school to choose, he is preparing for the upcoming season. Davies said he is hoping to wrap up his recruitment in the next month so he can focus in on winning a third straight state championship at Provo High.
"It will be the first [three-peat] in history if we do win it again," Davies said. "We just have to play hard and work hard and get better as a team."
