Davies down to three

With one more visit left on his docket, power forward Brandon Davies of Provo (Utah) High School has eliminated one of his schools, and is now down to three schools.
After leaving his Gonzaga visit with the feeling that it just wasn't the right fit, Davies is now down to BYU, California and Utah State.

After his October 11 visit to local school BYU, Davies will cut his list to at least two if not down to one. The number one issue directing his decision making will be how far away from home he wants to go to school.
"All three schools are even to me, and they are all good choices," said the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Davies. "It's going to be hard to decide between them. The big thing for me is to decide how close to home I want to be."
Davies commented on what he finds attractive about his top three schools:
BYU- "It's ten minutes from my home, so it might be nice to stay close to home."
California- "They play in a top league, and I'd have a chance to play against some of the top players in the country."
Utah State- "Utah State is in between distance wise. It is close enough to home where I wouldn't be that far away, but I'd also be getting away."
