David Cooper, a 6-7, 200-pound forward from division two Southern New Hampshire, has received his release. This means Cooper can sign now with a division one program. He will visit James Madison this upcoming weekend.
Cooper already has scholarship offers from James Madison and New Hampshire. He plans on also visiting New Hampshire. In addition, Boston University is also interested in Cooper and plans on taking an in home visit with David soon.
Cooper, who hails from Manchester, New Hampshire, played last summer for Jason Smith's Elevation AAU program. Cooper scored 32 points in a game was one of the better players Smith had on his roster. Cooper is still open.
At Southern New Hampshire, Cooper averaged nine points and five rebounds per contest.
