David Cooper Makes Decision

David Cooper, a 6-7, 200-pound forward from division two Southern New Hampshire, committed to James Madison today. It was only recently that Cooper had received his release from the division two school.

Cooper also received a scholarship offer from New Hampshire. Boston University was also interested in Cooper and and was hoping for an in home visit. Cooper played last summer for Jason Smith's AAU program "The Elevation."

Cooper scored 32 points in a game was one of the better players Smith had on his roster during last summer. Cooper had thought about attending prep school this season but decided to stick with his initial commitment and play at Southern New Hampshire. Cooper averaged about nine points and five rebounds as a freshman.
