David Bell Has A Short List

David Bell, a 6-7, 185 pound small forward/swingman from Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C., has a number of college programs courting him this summer. Many schools are expected to watch Bell play in person this season. It's likely schools that did not land the wing forward they needed will take a serious look at Bell over the next three to six months.
Bell has heard from Seton Hall, New Mexico,

Kansas, Miami, Syracuse, Oklahoma, La Salle, George Washington, and Kansas St. He does not have any offers yet.
"Schools are waiting to see his academic progress and his progress on the court," said Mt. Zion coach Tony Fazard.
Bell was considering taking visits to Seton Hall, La Salle, and Miami, but has decided to hold off. He does not have any visits planned.
Bell is a Philadelphia native who played last season at Olney High School in Philadelphia. "He's a 2/3 who is a good slasher and a good perimeter player," said Fazard. "His strong point is slashing to the rim and hitting the boards."
Bell has not yet achieved a qualifying SAT score. He is trying to raise his core GPA. "He looks to be in good shape(academically)," said Fazard, who added he expects David to qualify.
Bell will make a late decision.
