Dave Mallon Has Plenty Of Offers

Dave Mallon, a developing 6-9, 210 pound power forward/center from East Aurora H.S. in East Aurora, N.Y., enjoyed a productive July evaluation period and is being heavily recruited by Atlantic 10 schools this summer.
Mallon listed LaSalle, UMass, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, St. Joseph's, Pittsburgh, Canisius, Niagara and Siena as schools that he is considering.

Most of the schools had offered him scholarships by the time Mallon had attended the adidas Big Time Tournament with the Donyell Marshall Foundation.
The only exception he said was Pittsburgh.
Mallon's sister attends St. Bonaventure, but he said that will not play a major factor in his decision.
As a junior at East Aurora, Mallon averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and eight blocks per game.
On top of being a solid basketball prospect, Mallon said he carries an 88 average in the classroom and scored a 1010 on the SAT.
Although he did not show much offensively at the Big Time Tournament, Mallon impressed us with his frame, mobility and ability to block shots and keep them in play. The Donyell Marshall Foundation featured several good guard prospects, so Mallon and frontcourt mate Matt Gorman did not get a lot of touches other than those that they created for themselves.
Mallon made the top all-star game at the strong first session of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Clinic in New Jersey last month, prior to wrapping up July at the Big Time Tournament.
IR will keep you posted on his recruitment in the coming weeks.
