DaSilva a Pure Scorer

Darryl Gladden's Life Center program has benefited handsomely in recent years with the proliferation of foreign born players attending American high schools.
And Gladden was very happy to welcome 6-6, 205 pound swingman Raphael DaSilva into his Burlington, N.J. based program earlier this fall.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, DaSilva signed this fall with Florida International. He is one of seven foreign born players on this year's Life Center squad.
"Raphael is a warrior," Gladden said. "He's the first kid I ever had who told me he wanted to stick the best player on the opposing team."
"He's three/two who is learning more how to play the two," Gladden continued. "He's a slasher and a really good defender who runs the floor. He's a leader who gets along with everyone on the team."
Gladden expects DaSilva to be an integral part of this year's squad.
Rivalshoops.com plans on catching him in action at this weekend's War on the Shore Tournament in Milford, Del., and we will provide an update on his play shortly after the event.
