Daryll Hill Ignites Milford Past Life Center

SOUTH ORANGE, NEW JERSEY -- They call him Daryll "The Thrill" Hill. And rightly so. But Hill played a steady, solid floor game and scored 20 points to lead Milford Academy past Life Center, 75-70, at the Eastern Jamboree held on the campus of Seton Hall University.
Hill used a variety of ways to score -- dipsy doodle drives to the basket, some jumpers from around the free throw line, and also converted several key foul shots at the end to hold off a tough Life Center team.

Milford got off to a quick start due to the outside game of Tennessee bound guard, John Winchester, who stroked three three-pointers early on in the first half. Milford went to the lockeroom at the half with a 38-35 lead.
Life Center athletic guard, Mike Lasme, who is headed to Massachusetts next Fall, scored 11 points in the first half and also received help from junior Arnold Dahi, who added 15 points in the first 20 minutes of play.
The game was close throughout the second half. When Milford would pull away, Life Center would battle back. But some big buckets inside by Lamont Hamilton helped Milford maintain the lead.
Winchester and Hamilton both finished with 14 points while Nicholas King had eight points for the winners.
Dahi led his team with 22 points while Lasme scored 13 and Justin Stribling also added 13 for the losers.
