NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Daryl Pegram hit five consecutive three-pointers to help Worcester overcome the sparkling duo of Luol Deng and Charlie Villanueva in a final played today at Basketball City.
Pegram's 20 points lifted Mo Cassara's talented Worcester squad to a 75-70 victory over Blair Academy in the Boys Club Of New York Holiday Classic.
Pegram's shot was on fire. He hit six three-pointers in all, and only missed on three other attempts.
Pegram, headed to Indiana, helped erase a five point deficit in the fourth quarter. The incredible talents of Deng and Villanueva combined for 55 of the 70 Blair Academy points.
