Danny Green Has Short List

Danny Green, a 6-2, 185-pound shooting guard from Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, N.Y., will take an official visit to Colgate on Thursday.
Green has already taken an unofficial visit to St. Francis (NY). St. Francis has offered. Green also lists Davidson, Quinnipiac, Central Connecticut, Princeton, Cornell, and the Air Force Academy.

Green is a player who has been overlooked a bit on the New York City scene. An athletic slasher who brings good size and a solid build to the wing, Green garnered interest from a slew of Southern programs after participating in a Bob Gibbons' event this
summer and spending a lot of time in Florida with his cousin and uncle, Sidney Green, former NBA player and current head coach of Florida Atlantic.
Green isn't interested in going down South, for the most part, other than Davidson, but many programs in the Northeast haven't seen him enough to evaluate him.
Green injected a dose of energy into New York City's line-up in the first half Saturday at the Hoops for Heroes Event at Hofstra University. Green showed an ability to break down his defender off the dribble,
using his athleticism and body control to convert on twisting drives.
Green's biggest asset is his slashing
ability. He excels at getting to the hoop.
Green is keeping mum on whether or not he has a leader. He expects to make a decision late, probably during the season.
