Danny Green Close To Decision

Athletic combo guard Danny Green from Poly Prep in Brooklyn has whittled down his options to four schools.

Green recently visited Sacred Heart officially, but is waiting to hear whether or not a fifth year player for the school would be returning, which would open a scholarship up. Green is also considering Florida Atlantic, where his uncle, Sidney Green, is coach, as well as Colgate and San Francisco. All schools have offered.

Green recently visited Florida Atlantic unofficially, and took an official trip to Colgate in the fall. Green's former teammate at Poly Prep, Keith Williams, is a member of Colgate's team.

"I'll probably choose between Florida Atlantic, Colgate, and San Francisco," said Green.

Green, at 6'2'' 170 lbs, averaged 24 points per game for Poly Prep this season. He is an athletic slasher who excels at getting to the rack. Green is a streaky shooter.

Green carries a B- in the classroom and has scored 1120 on the SAT.
