Dan Grunfeld Finishes ABCD With A Bang

TEANECK, NEW JERSEY -- When we last spoke to Dan Grunfeld, he was explaining it was difficult to get a good offensive feel to his game since he had so few touches. Well, that changed the final two games of competition.
Grunfeld scored 28 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and had four steals in the first session of his games yesterday. He followed it up with 21 points, 11 reboiunds, and a steal in the afternoon session.

Can you say his stock has gone high? Certainly.
Virginia is one school that might try and jump into the race. The Insiders Report has seen Grunfeld play three times. And in each of the games played, Grunfeld has shown he is unselfish, can hit the jumper, find an open teammate with a pass, and hit a clutch hoop when it is needed.
All of these ingredients make up one pretty good recruit. And there are several major schools that Grunfeld is interested in right now.
"I am wide open," Grunfeld said. "But some of the schools I am interested in are Stanford, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Indiana, Tennessee, Princeton, and Pennsylvania."
Grunfeld should expect more schools to call him in the future.
Stanford appears to have the slight edge but Grunfeld said he plans on taking official visits this Fall before making up his mind.
