Dacons Plans Trip
Dion Dacons, an active 6-6, 205 pound power/combination forward from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., will visit Boston University tomorrow.
Dacons is also interested in Wyoming, East Carolina, Davidson, and Appalachian State.

Dacons averaged 15 points and seven rebounds a game this past season for head coach Steve Smith.
Dacons improved his jumper and is a much better all-around player now than he was a year ago. On a loaded Oak Hill Academy squad, Dacons averaged seven points and six rebounds per game in a reserve role in 2001-2002.
The positives about Dacons is his aggressive play and his relentless pursuit of the basket from the opening tap to the final whistle. Dion loves to get up on the glass, especially on the offensive end. He is also skilled in scoring in transition opportunities.
Dion is also an excellent student. Dacons said he has a 3.6 GPA and scored a 1060 on the SAT.
