Cuse, Pitt, UCONN, Ohio St Offer Scorer

Kyle Lowry is a difference maker, and once he got it going on Friday night at the Spiece Run N Slam Tournament, it was lights out for the Wisconsin Force.
With his Philly MJC squad down three at the half, Lowry scored many of his 22 points in the second half as MJC coasted to a 79-65 victory over the Force.

Following the game, the offensive minded 5-foot-11, 182-pound floor general from Cardinal Dougherty H.S. in Philadelphia sat down with RivalsHoops.com and gave us an update on his recruitment.
Lowry said that he now has scholarship offers from LaSalle, St. Joe's, Xavier, Ohio State, UConn, Pittsburgh and Syracuse this spring.
Being from Philly, Lowry has had a chance to see the campuses of both St. Joe's and LaSalle. He also took a look at Ohio State when his MJC team played in a tournament in the Buckeye State a few weeks back.
While many top juniors are taking advantage of the relatively new rule that permits them to take official visits before their senior year, Lowry said he can't because he hasn't taken either the SAT or ACT.
The baby-faced floor general added that he has been invited to both the Nike All-American and adidas ABCD Camps this summer, but that he hasn't yet decided where to go just yet.
This past winter at Dougherty, he averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals per game.
