Christ the King head coach Bob Oliva, Justin Marshall
is a big man whose best days may be well ahead of him.
Marshall is a lanky, long-armed forward who looks to
be best suited for the small forward slot at this
stage. He is a quick jumper who possesses good timing
in rejecting opponents' shots. Armed with a prodigious
wingspan along with a lanky frame, it might be safe to
assume that Marshall is not yet done growing.
Perhaps most appealing about the native of
Corona's(Queens) developing repertoire, however, is a
burgeoning face-up game. Marshall showed a willingness
to pull up from mid-range and deeper, and appeared
comfortable in doing so, with good mechanics on his
stroke.
Early on, Marshall has received interest from UConn,
Seton Hall, Pitt, and Texas Tech. Hofstra, St.
Peter's, and Rhode Island have already sent staff
members to Middle Village to watch Marshall work out.
Hofstra has extended a scholarship offer.
Marshall carries an 85 average and scored 880 on the PSAT.
