Cromwell headed to Pac-10

RouSean Cromwell is sleeping a little late on Monday but that's alright. He only made one of the biggest decisions of his life. The 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward from Memphis, Tenn. and the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., traveled west to a Pac-10 school and came home late Sunday night with a decision on where he will play his college basketball.
According to Dan Barto of IMG, Cromwell officially visited the University of Southern California over the weekend and decided that he will move to the West Coast after graduation for his college days.

"He told us, 'Go ahead and tell everyone that I'm committed to them. I'm excited about it,'" Barto told Rivals.com on Monday morning.
Cromwell is the first high school player to commit to new Trojan head coach Tim Floyd. He joins Sead Odzic, a high school player that committed to Henry Bibby and company as well as junior college players Theo White and Samba Gueye. Cromwell will sign his National Letter of Intent in April.
Floyd was high Cromwell and made a couple of cross-country trips to the Sunshine State to see the No. 115 ranked player in the country in action. Landing the solid rebounder and improving offensive player helps fill the void that was left by Mike Freeman, a Washington D.C. native who signed with USC in the fall but recently asked for a release from his NLI.
"It's a nice opportunity out there. And it's a nice opportunity to possibly play for a guy that's coached in the NBA because that's where I'm eventually trying to get to," Cromwell told Rivals.com a couple of weeks ago about USC.
Cromwell was also considering Clemson, Georgia Tech and UAB.
