Creighton scores second commitment of week
It's been a good week so far for Greg McDermott and his Creighton staff up in Omaha. Just a couple of days after picking up Texas big man Geoff Groselle, the Blue Jays added wing Avery Dingman late Tuesday night.
A near 6-foot-6 swingman out of Branson (Mo.) High, Dingman is a sharp shooting wing with great size and deep range on his jumper. On the break and in traffic, he's a bouncy leaper who can finish above the rim if needed.
After considering offers from programs all over the region, Dingman had cut his choices down to Creighton and conference foe Missouri State.
