Crawford Impresses Scouts/Coaches

Tyler Crawford, a 6-3, 195 pound rising junior swingman from Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, VA, was very impressive in his Waynesboro Jayhawks' battle with the East Coast Eagles for the American Division title at last week's Triple S Harley Davidson Charlie Weber Invitational at West Virginia University. Waynesboro lost 69-54 but Crawford still stood out.
Crawford averaged 16 points and 12.4 rebounds last season helping his team to the state semifinals. "It's early for recruiting for me but I like the Big East and ACC schools," he said.
He has excellent hands, an accurate jump shot and is a strong rebounded. Crawford is also a good student with a 3.1 GPA.
