Craft Looking to Prep for Two Years

James Craft, an intriguing 6-9, 215 pound center/power forward from Hermitage H.S. in Richmond, Va., is looking to attend prep school for the next two years.
Craft, who played for the Richmond Squires "B" team this past weekend at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Va., is a left-hander with a good basketball body. While he is a raw prospect who needs to refine his shooting technique, Craft possesses considerable upside.

Richmond Squires program director Tony Squires is hoping to get Craft into a prep school for the next two years. As a junior this past season at Hermitage, Craft did not play basketball due to transfer rules.
Prior to arriving in Richmond, Craft attended Cardinal Mooney H.S. in Youngstown, Ohio and Buckeye H.S. in Cleveland, Ohio. He spent his freshman year at Mooney and split his sophomore year between Mooney and Buckeye.
Squire has been in contact with Notre Dame Academy Head Coach Larry Cullinane, who eyeballed Craft this past weekend at the Southern Invitational.
We'll be keeping an eye on Craft this summer, and should he resurface at another school, we'll let you know.
