The top-ranked point guard available in the class of 2018, Webster Groves (Mo.) High point guard Courtney Ramey is a great position as he adds offers and watches things unfold around the country.

After picking up recent offers from Illinois, South Carolina, SMU and Minnesota to go along with others from the likes of Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Texas, the nation's No. 43-ranked player in the senior class has added an offer from Cuonzo Martin and the home state Missouri Tigers.

Minnesota head coach Richard Pitino was in Thursday to see the former Louisville commitment after head coaches from Illinois, Mizzou, SMU and South Carolina all saw him late last week.

As the high school and college seasons near an end, Ramey finds himself in an enviable position. He's the best guy on the board at his spot and if he wants to, he can sit back and watch to see who transfers, who goes to the NBA and what coaching changes there are that could have an impact on his decision.

With that in mind, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Ramey - who has taken official visits to Oklahoma State and Texas - intends to take his time, finish out the season and then consider his options as the dust settles.

“He's being patient and focusing on the season and letting things unfold all the way around," Ramey's father, Terrell Ramey, told Rivals.com. "He's in a great situation right now, and having the chance to see what happens everywhere should be very good for him.

"He's been through this before and we are seeing that everything happens for a reason. It's a good situation to be in, and he's going to take his time."
