Couple in-home visits for Williams

Halfway through his official visitation schedule, five-star guard Elliot Williams wraps up his in-home visits this week.
Duke will visit with Williams, 6-foot-4, 175-pound from Memphis (Tenn.) St. George's School, on Tuesday, and then Memphis will be in his house on Wednesday.

Having already visited Duke and Virginia this past weekend, Williams takes a break from official visits this weekend before consecutive visits to Tennessee and Memphis in October. Williams spoke highly of his visit to Virginia.
"The visit was great," said Williams. "I got in Thursday night and then went to some classes on Friday with Will Harris. I got to spend a lot of time with the players, which was good. I also built a better relationship with the coaches."
Maintaining a steady demeanor throughout his scrutinized recruiting process, Williams maintains the importance of working through the process despite its toll.
"I'm just trying to make the right decision," said Williams. "The official visits are helping, and I'm able to see how I fit into the different situations. It can be tough, and it can be fun. But it is a business decision, so I have to approach it that way."
Williams is the No. 16 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Elliot Williams scouting report:
An electric athlete, Williams is a big time slashing scorer who can also wreak havoc on the defensive end with his length, quickness and superb anticipation. A potential big time point guard, Williams sees the floor and can break his man down on the dribble. He loves to take the ball right and then spin back to his dominant left hand against the second defender. His outside shot is in the process of improving.
