Could Duke Take Roberson Dockery

This article is an opinion, an opinion only of Mike Sullivan and based upon some sources he relies upon.
Could the next great future backcourt for Duke be Sean Dockery and Anthony Roberson? Maybe.

Dockery has already indicated he is ready to make a decision in favor of the Duke program. Roberson has told our sources that Duke leads slightly over Michigan State and company. But as Roberson has mentioned before, having Dockery and Chris Duhon in the backcourt may not be attractive to him.
But what if Duhon leaves earlier than expected? Perhaps after this upcoming season? Yes. It's possible. Duhon is expected to have a great season alongside Jason Williams and we are getting indications from NBA scouts that Chris may want to jump to the league after next season.
Whether this can entice Roberson to join Dockery in the backcourt remains to be seen. But coaching sources have told us that Duhon seems more willing now to think about jumping to the NBA if his season works out the way most think it will.
Roberson is a great player in his own right. It's hard to say who is number one, etc. When it comes down to it, having Raymond Felton, Anthony Roberson, Sean Dockery, Jarrett Jack, Deron Williams, Gerry McNamara, etc is a pretty good start to your future no matter who you land.
Of course, there are several other great programs recruiting Roberson and they are not about to lay down and give in to this scenerio. But it's a thought for today, and remember, it's a thought of only one person as well as an opinion piece.
In the end, the only opinion that counts is Roberson's and Duhon's.
