Cotton Talks About His Decision

It really wasn't that hard of a decision for Brandon Cotton, a 5-11, 160-pound point guard from DePorres HS in Detroit, Michigan. Cotton made up his mind early in the recruiting process and recently chose Michigan State.
Cotton, a member 2003 class, praised the boss at Michigan State as being the main reason why he selected the Spartans. "I felt that coach Tom Izzo wins championships and produces NBA players," Cotton told us. "Those were the main reasons why I chose Michigan State."

Cotton, who told us he averaged 28 points and five assists last season, also indicated he was seriously considering Penn State and Duke. "I am very comfortable with the coaching staff at Michigan State," Cotton said. "I really like coach Izzo a lot. He has a lot of energy. He has won a lot of big games. I want to play in big games."
Cotton plans on playing for The Family this summer. He will be attending many AAU events over the next four months. RivalsHoops.com will be at some of those events and will provide information on how Cotton performs this spring and summer.
