Cory Hudson May Have To Go Prep Or JUCO

Cory Hudson, a rugged 6-5, 210 pound senior swingman from Archbishop Spalding H.S. in Severn, Md., might be looking to attend a prep school or junior college next fall if he is unable to qualify academically.
The Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Spalding Asst. Coach Andrew Sachs at the Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament in Delaware, and he said that Hudson will need to boost both his test score and core GPA in order to qualify for freshman eligibility under current NCAA rules.

Norfolk State and Siena are the Division I schools that have shown some interest in Hudson. Sachs said that several JUCOs and prep schools are also interested in Hudson, including Neosho County C.C. (KS), Coffeyville C.C. (KS), the Laurinburg Institute (NC), Hargrave Military Academy (VA) and the Winchendon School (MA).
Hudson is a proficient midrange shooter with good athleticism who helps out on the glass.
A lot will depend on Hudson's academic situation, and Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on his situation as the spring approaches.
