Cortez Davis: Has Many Options

Cortez Davis, a long 6-7, 190 pound small forward from Bridgton Academy in Maine, may return to Whit Lesure's basketball program next year. Davis is a legimate 12th grader and could come back for a post grad year if he wishes.
Last year he played at Friendly H.S. in Ft. Washington, Md. Davis was brilliant at the TOC in North Carolina. He possesses smooth offensive moves and has no fear in pressing his thin frame under stress when he goes against big forwards.

The opportunities we had to watch Davis gave us the impression he is and should be looked at by high division one schools. Davis, who needs to lift his SAT score, told us he is likely to land at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia.
His list includes Miami of Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee. He is still wide open. Previously, he plans to have both Florida State and Tennessee visit him in the school in the near future.
Davis, who was one of the better sleepers to emerge from the adidas ABCD Camp this past July, also said that he was being recruited this fall by George Washington, Rhode Island, Georgia Tech, Rutgers and Villanova.
A proficient slasher who often presents matchup problems for opponents due to his height and good quickness, Davis said he is open, and is not sure if he will sign early or late.
