Correa Makes Decision

Mory Correa, a 6-9, 215-pound power forward from Pratt CC in Pratt, Kansas who previously committed to Oklahoma State, has now committed to Wyoming, according to the staff at Pratt CC. Correa had taken a visit to Wyoming this past weekend and made the commitment today.
Correa had been denied admission to the Cowboys' school. Previously, Correa told us he picked Oklahoma State over Texas Tech, Cleveland State, and Creighton.

RivalsHoops.com had learned that Cleveland and Wyoming had emerged as the frontrunners with Buffalo also under previous consideration.
Correa is a fine run/jump athlete who plays exceptionally hard and is willing to mix it up in the paint. Though many European big men get a bad rap for being soft, Correa does not really fit that mold. In fact, he's the reverse in that his shooting skills are lacking (shoots on a line drive and lacks touch) and his hands are not great. But he's a battler, he's tall and he can run and jump, and at this time of the year, that ain't all that bad.
Correa took two official visits in September -- one to Texas Tech and the other to Cleveland State.
