Gerry Corcoran has made a decision about his future. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard from Worcester Academy School in Norwell, MA., has given a commitment to Quinnipiac. Corcoran officially visited the school during the month of September and loved everything about it.

“I committed to Quinnipiac shortly after I retuned home from my official visit,” Corcoran said. “I really like the coaching staff and feel that the program is headed in the right direction. A couple of guys I know from New Jersey have also given commitments to Quinnipiac, so I feel good about my decision.
“I just loved everything about the school, which was probably the biggest factor in my decision,” he added. “Quinnipiac is a really good school. Also, I wanted to stay near home and my parents were very supportative of this decision.”
Corcoran indicated that he would primarily play the shooting guard position in college, but its likely that he might see a little time at the small forward position.
